About Maxline Ultralite Cases.
Maxline Ultralite cases are constructed using sheets of polypropylene plastic, these sheets have a honeycombed core, which provides the strength needed to maintain rigidity in the case.

Cross section of ultralite flight panel and leather grain finish.
The honeycombed core makes the ultralight flight panel a lot less heavy than solid core ABS or ABS laminated to plywood. But its very rigid, and makes for a sturdy lightweight case.
Inside construction of an ultralite case. Showing back-up plates for handles and recessed casters.
We use back-up washers along the seams which are joined by single angle extrusion, and back-up plates in high stress areas, such as behind handles, and casters.

We further lighten the case by doing away with extrusion where its not necessary, creating nice smooth, strong edges. The lid and base is joined by valence for a tight fit. Recessed latches and handles are used when possible.
We can customize the interior for a variety of needs.
